The SOHC men’s first team continued their excellent run of recent form last Saturday when they won 5-2 at Sidmouth against Chippenham.

That was a fifth straight win for the team and their sixth win in the last seven unbeaten matches in all competitions! The team also have a Devon Trophy semi-final to contest. That match takes place on Sunday, March 5 when they will take on Plymouth University A. Tomorrow they entertain Firebrands at Sidmouth (noon) and will be looking to get the better of a side that beat them 4-1 when they met in November.

The second team were involved in a 2-2 draw at ECVHA last weekend and tomorrow they host OPM at Sidmouth (1.30pm). It’s a run of 16 matches without success currently for the second eleven. That last win was back on October 10 when they beat Torbay at Sidmouth. They will try to avoid a season’s double defeat tomorrow having lost 3-1 at OPPM last November.

The third team were 4-1 winners last Saturday in their Ottery meeting with ECVH B. Tomorrow they are away at East Devon B.

The fourth team have a great chance to end a run of seven straight defeats when they entertain West Dorset A at Ottery (2pm). The team were beaten 8-2 last weekend at North Devon A and the last time they won was back on November 21st when they were 1-0 victors at West Dorset A. So tomorrow have the chance of competing a rare season’s double.

The fifth team went down 6-0 last Saturday at the hands of hosts Tiverton and tomorrow they entertain Ashmoor C at Ottery St Mary (3.30pm).
