A strong field assembled for the annual Seniors Medal and Putting competition, writes Chris Grubb.
It was organised by past seniors’ captains John Bainbridge and Colin Paddon and contested in dry and warm conditions with the greens playing fast after the dry weather, making for some interesting golf.
Phil Spencer took first place with a nett 60 and Graham Rogers (62) claimed second place with Bob Johnson (64) bagging third on countback.
Johnson also won the putting competition with 24 putts.
