James Spiller took top spot in the popular Sidmouth Jeweller’s Friday Stableford, writes George Carr.
Spiller carded a useful 38 points though I suspect the real highlight of his week was being named in the Sidmouth’s Palairet team to face Okehampton on the testing Churston course this coming Sunday (May 5).
Geoff Lory, also with 38, was relegated to second place on count-back.
Low handicapper Kevin Legg claimed third spot on 36 points.
