Although there are now less than six weeks to go before the end of the outdoor season, for just 15 you can enjoy all the benefits of bowling club membership until next spring.

As 15 is a joining fee which all new members have to pay, anyone joining now is effectively paying no subscription for the first six months membership. So what would the benefits be?

Well, you would be able to enjoy the winter social programme with various get-togethers in the licensed club house. You would be able to find out if the game is to your liking and, if it is, to enter for the many indoor away games which are arranged throughout the winter against clubs with indoor greens.

If you enjoyed membership, then, in the spring, you can pay the membership for next season without, of course, paying the joining fee again. If you did not find it to your liking, then you let your membership lapse. To find out more, go along on any Friday evening after 5.45p.m. up till September 18, and, if you bring flat shoes, you can try out your bowling skill.
