Sidmouth Racketball travelled to Paignton for their second fixture of the season looking to improve on their opening game defeat at the hands of Culm Valley, writes Rob Cann.
Unfortunately, Sidmouth came up against an experienced team and lost all five rubbers.
Sidmouth scores were: Andrew Rugg-Gunn 7-11; 5-11; 9-11. Rob Bagwell 6-11; 7-11; 11-6; 3-11; Carl Sowden 7-11; 8-11; 11-6; 9-11. Nick Whittaker 3-11; 4-11; 9-11. Rob Cann 5-11; 6-11; 11-6; 11-4; 8-11.
The team’s next fixture is at home to Exeter University students when another tough game is expected.
