Sidmouth Under-13 girls won a thrilling match against Camborne during the club’s junior section’s ‘Heroes and Villains’ themed junior tour to Cornwall.

Despite the previous night ending late, many of the Sidmouth girls showed little effect with Annabelle Bird finding her mojo, carrying and tackling ferociously, and Abi Alner giving a master class in the off-load in contact, putting the opposition team constantly on the back foot.

With time running out, Amy Scott scythed her way through the Camborne defence to score what proved to be the winning try. Post match, the team enjoyed a thoroughbred pasty to top off a memorable Cornish rugby experience at a hallowed Cornish club.
