At the close of play the leader board showed Mike Teague’s 38 points just good enough to keep John Hicks in second place on countback.
Despite birdies on the fourth and 12th Hicks will be disappointed with just one point from the last two holes which certainly cost him this one!
John Jones, playing off a handicap of four was a point behind with 37, albeit playing a quite different standard of golf, his gross 69 including four birdies, not quite enough on the day - well done, gentlemen.
