The East Devon Ladies played for the Fields Cup on Wednesday, with Sheila Thompson coming out as winner with her score of 70, writes Penny Ashby.
Ros Eaton and Jill Jeffery won Divisions 2 and 3 respectively.
This competition was followed by an entertaining and well-attended fashion show in the clubhouse, organised and sponsored by Fields store.
In other news from the ladies’ golf section, Julie Lye and Yvonne Anning beat Torquay in the first round of the Doris Willes-Little county competition.
Sheila Thomson and Angela Coles played well in the County medal finals at Wrangaton last weekend.
