Mark Thomas hit top form on Friday to win the latest Sidmouth Jeweller’s competition, writes George Carr.
His gross 65 netting him a winning 43 points on the day with birdies on the first, second, seventh, 10th and 13th it was certainly a well deserved victory; well played, Mark.
David Stone claimed second spot with 42 points playing three better than his handicap for a net 63 and some sweep money.
Jeremy Russell, playing off 19 carded a sound 39 points for third place including seven pars and one rueful blob on 12th.
