Sidmouth Ladies played on Wednesday, again in beautiful weather and the view across the bay was simply stunning, writes Maria Clapp.
The ladies contested a County Prize meeting, a par competition.
First place went to Marie Timms with minus one and Dorthe Fowler took second place with minus three. Third went to Coral Roberts who also had minus three, but was edged out for the runners-up spot on countback. Ross Eaton was the only player to record a two.
Last Friday the president’s team entertained Honiton and the match was halved.
On Monday the Sheila Creasy team played at Wrangaton in bitter cold weather! They lost six-and-a-half to a half! They return to action against Teignmouth next Friday (June 12).
The president’s team are also playing Teignmouth, they entertain them this Friday.
