The visitors batted well with Adam Fragley and Ed Salter putting on 79 for the first wicket. This was ended when Fragley was stumped by Dave Thayre for 36 off Phil Wright.
John Buckland bowled Jamie Wayling for 2, but another half century stand was only ended when Ben Schofield was caught on the boundary by Buckland off Wright, who finished with 2-42 and set a club record of 63 wickets for the season.
Buckland took his 35th catch of the season (another club record) to remove Cork off Channon, as the Heads & Tails innings closed on 206-7. Channon took 3-30.
Dave Thayre (37) supported Phil Tolley who notched another 50 for Tipton and in doing so passed 1000 runs for the season.
There was a cameo innings by Dave Jessop who scored 26 off 19 balls. At the other end, Phil Tolley reached his third century of the season and his 60th for Tipton as he hit the winning runs with consecutive boundaries and ended 114 not out.
So ended an enjoyable season which saw Tipton win 20 matches and lose 13.
