Due to a mixture of bad weather, Covid and player unavailability, there was only one fixture played in the Joma Devon Women's Football League.

It was in the Eastern Division, where Seaton Town played host to Ottery St Mary in a game in which ten goals were scored.

Ottery hit the back of the net four times through Jess Jenkins (2), Georgia Chapman and Kelsey Salter, but it was not enough as the home side replied with six goals for a 6-4 victory. Georgie Lamprill notched a hat trick, with team-mates, Kelly Power, Millie Dack, Chloe Thompson and Hannah Warren scoring one apiece.

Seaton goalkeeper also found time in a breathless match to produce a brilliant save, something that is becoming her trademark, and enough to earn Player of the Match.

It was a thrilling advert for women’s football and congratulations to all the players from Seaton and Ottery for the thrilling entertainment.
