Toucans Chicks still top Honiton Netball League table

Two weeks into the season and it’s four teams undefeated in Left Division, writes Graham Ingram.
Toucans Chicks continue to hold top spot thanks to a 47-17 win over Swaggermamas who are at the foot of the table and waiting to register their first point.
Hi Q hold second spot after a 55-31 victory over Tip Top Trees who picked up their second point of the campaign.
There was no change at third either in third spot with Panthers 48-31 win over Pixies ensuring them of their second win in two outings.
Last week Signs South West had recorded a two goal victory, their win was even tighter when they edged a close encounter with Otter Valley by a single goal with a 40-39 victory.

Biggest gainers of the week were newcomers Tornados who jumped from ninth in the table to sixth by virtue of their 46-33 win over HoneyZ.
Meanwhile, in the Right Division there are just three teams retaining their unbeaten status, Flamingos, Beer Blazers and JD Tyres.

Flamingos continued in top spot with a win over Toucans by 41-24, whilst Beer Blazers mover up to second thanks to their fine victory against Hot Shots, whose defeat saw them drop from second to fourth.
It was a high scoring 52-37 win for the Blazers. JD Tyres second win came at the expense of Cranbrook Arrows who dropped to the foot of the table on goal difference.
After a big defeat last week Otters bounced back with a fine, but close, victory over High Tide by 31-24, that saw them move off the foot of the table and up to eighth place.
The final game was an encounter between two teams on the same points with an identical goal difference, Blackdown and Hawks.
At the end of the contest it was the exactly same situation, the game having ended with a 34-34 draw!
