Sidmouth Toucans were beaten 35-27 by Hawks in their second game in the Honiton Netball Winter League.
It was a physical encounter, as reflected in the post match fair play count which saw Toucans collect eight points and Hawks six.
The Toucans Player of the match award was won by 14-year-old Danni Walters meaning the award was retained by the family as he mother had won it the week before!
Toucans team: Helen Terry, Louise Neilson, Vikki Russell, Sarah Fletcher, Sarah Sparks, Lucy Davies, Jo White, Danni Walters.
There’s no game for Toucans next week, but the regular pay-and-play session will be held at Sidmouth Sports Centre tomorrow (Saturday).
