Sidmouth Town Reserves lifted the Golesworthy Cup on a glorious night for Town followers at Ottery St Mary when they defeated Kentisbeare Reserves 4-1.
Sixty-nine years after the name Sidmouth Town was last inscribed onto the Golesworthy Cup it sits there once again after a superb all-round team display.
A large support travelled across to Ottery to support Ian Peacock’s young Town side and they delivered a performance befitting of a cup final.
Connor Murphy drilled home a brace of penalties and the other scorers were Freddie King and Jimmy Pearse on a glorious night for the Vikings.
