Tennis is back on the menu and a perfect time to experience a fantastic sport for the first time, or rekindle an old flame.
With the lockdown restrictions easing, and the courts at Sidford Tennis now open again, there has never been a better time to take up tennis to have some fun, learn some new skills and enjoy a bit of well-missed social interaction
Tennis has been scientifically proven to be one of the most beneficial sports to play because:
It provides constant health and fitness;
It provides both physical and mental health fitness;
It can be played by all ages;
It provides the opportunity for people to develop and progress at their own pace;
It develops self-confidence by being able to feel the improvements and socialise with others in group sessions;
It provides the opportunity to play and develop with like-minded people of a similar skill level.
Sidford Tennis club is a friendly, community-based club and we would like to offer people the opportunity to try tennis for free. Our offer is open to adults of all ages, who have never played tennis before and to those ‘rusties’ who haven’t played within the last 10 years.
The introductory offer is for two free sessions at either our latest beginners coaching course or our regular cardio courses (which fill up quickly!).
These courses run at different times during the week. At the end of the offer, you can then either join the club as a member, at our attractive £60 annual rate, or continue with the courses by paying at the non-membership rate.
Alternatively – feel free to come along and meet us at one of daytime or evening organised social sessions.
We really want to help the community with having some fun and improving their social wellbeing, mental health and fitness, so please register interest by contacting or by leaving a message on our website at on the Contact Us page.
