Sidmouth Badminton Club are looking to build on their successful 2008/2009 season and are keen to attract new members.

The club offers a mix of both social and competitive badminton, so if you have recently moved into the area, why not come along, have a game hopefully join the club?

Alternatively if, at present you play, but not in a club, then why not take your game to a new level, come along to the club to see what it is all about, you never know you'll probably enjoy playing against a number of different people and feel that the club environment is the place for you to improve and take your badminton to the next level. You will be assured of a warm welcome at the club.

Starting on Wednesday, September 9, the club will be running badminton taster evenings alongside their club night so, for just �4 per evening, why not come along and have a game with the club members; the taster evenings will run throughout September.

Club nights run from 8 to 10pm on Wednesday evenings from September through to April.

As well as the social badminton the club also run six league teams, two men's, two ladies' and two mixed teams, all of which play in the Exeter & District Badminton League. These teams play at various levels and offer a wide range of competitive badminton.

By joining Sidmouth Badminton Club you automatically become affiliated to Badminton England and are able to enjoy all the associated benefits that this can bring.

As well as badminton, the club also hold other social events such as quiz evenings, skittles evenings etc. to bring the members together away from the badminton court.
