The Devon County FA will be holding a Under 18’s Youth Trial on Sunday, August 21, to be held at Devon County FA Headquarters, Coach Road, Newton Abbot. The trials will commence at 11.00am, but players will need to be at the ground by 10.00am.
The Devon County Representative Under 18 Team will be playing in the South West Counties Youth Championship, the Mick Parry Cup and the FA County Youth Cup (which is a national competition).
To be eligible to represent the Devon Youth this season, players are those who have not reached the age of 18 years as at midnight on August 31, this season. Therefore, in terms of date of birth, a player must have been born on or after September 1, to be eligible.
He must also either have been born in Devon or currently be playing for a club in the County. Additionally, and in order to achieve the necessary quality, we are seeking players who would be able to play in at least one of the premier divisions of the County leagues, or higher.
