Sidmouth Warriors Under-9s scored both their goals in the first half as they won 2-0 at Crediton United.
Warriors made a flying start and, after a first minute mistake in the home midfield, Lucas Vicary pounced to fire the visiting side into an instant lead.
Crediton United hit back and the game was end-to-end with Warriors, and particularly Will Lawrence, defending well.
Some quick-thinking from Ethan Isaac resulted in him beating his marker before playing a 30 yard pass to the feet of Vicary who then drilled the ball home.
In the second some confident goalkeeping from Oscar Finch, more excellent Lawrence defending and some impressive left side play from Isaac, meant that Warriors were able to see the game out to record a deserved clean sheet success,
The Warriors’ Man of the Match award went to Ethan Isaac.
