However, Sidmouth deservedly took the lead when a Connor Murphy corner was deflected in off a defender with Alex Stone challenging.

Finlay Marks made a brilliant save to keep the score at 1-0 going into the halftime break.

Soon after the restart, Ollie Jarrett smashed the ball home for a two-goal lead, but West Hill hit back to reduce the arrears.

Jamie Newbery made a great tackle and then passed the ball to Ben Miller who lashed home a great goal for a 3-1 lead.

Sidmouth were now cruising but a silly free kick was given away and a superb strike made the scoreline 3-2.

And, in the dying seconds, West Hill scored the equaliser.

It was a disappointing result for Sidmouth Vikings but a great game of football.

The Warriors were always the better team, with Jamie Newbery and Harvey Sargent defending well, enabling midfielders Finlay Marks and Joe Miller to find space.

It was only a matter of time before Sidmouth took the lead through Joe Miller, who calmly shot home.

Sloppy finishing stopped Sidmouth building a commanding lead and Alex Stone and Ben Miller were unlucky when their shots went just wide.

The second half was much the same story with near misses and it was left to Harvey Sargent to smash the ball home with an unstoppable shot to give Sidmouth a very comfortable 2-0 victory.
