THE opening round of the Devon Premier Cup threw together a classic East Devon Derby.

South West Peninsula League new boys Sidmouth Town were drawn at home to Axminster Town.

The game will be played at Manstone Road on Saturday, October 8.

Seaton Town were also handed a home draw, they entertain University of Exeter and Beer Albion were another side to get home advantage and they were given a chance to do some giant killing!

The Fishermen will entertain Alphington of the Peninsula League. Ottery St Mary were drawn away to Topsham Town.
