SIDMOUTH TOWN boss Paul Ashford is confident that his side can keep producing the goods right up to the end of the season, despite losing some key players. "I will be able to field a more than capable side for our last three games, which are all at home," he said. Andy Thompson is off to Australia and Anthony Griffiths and Nick Gingell are both now committed to cricket. The side lost 1-0 to Exeter University at the weekend but 'not through lack of effort' said Ashford. Playing on a 'massive pitch' in very windy conditions, the university students managed to take the lead with a wind- assisted shot which rifled into the top of the net."The lads tried everything in the second half to get something out of the game, but it wasn't quite enough and they now know that they will have to push hard right to the end of the season. We have to make the most of the fact that we have a three match home run to end the season, starting with Newtown on Saturday," Ashford said
