Olivia Warwick, a Year 11 student at Colyton Grammar School has had an England netball call-up, writes Emilia Anning.
The youngster has been selected to take part in a very competitive England netball ‘talent and performance’ academy for the Under-19 team.
The academy provides year-round training for talented netball players, aiming to offer opportunities to play with those of a similar standard. The academy is managed by England Netball.
Olivia, who lives in Axminster, said: “Having the opportunity to train with and be mentored by England coaches will be a unique and rewarding experience.”
Following her trials she hopes to be recognised by team scouts and reach England or Netball Super League level.
