The sixth round of the Livery Dole Mitsubishi Winter League 2015-16 was played on Sunday in reasonable weather although a little windy, writes John Barnard.
It was a Texas Scramble format with teams and, for the first time, 20 per cent of combined handicap was used.
Some teams look more competitive than others and before the start, Lee Wenham, Simon Knowles and Alan Davis looked a good grouping and so it proved, winning by two shots with a medal score of 51.8.
In second place were Graham Davies, Chris (CM) Roberts and Jeremy Holden with 53.8. In third were Sean Murphy, Hugh Dorliac and Geoff Lory.
In the league table, Graham Davies has moved into a commanding three point lead with 17 points, followed by Simon Jones and Lee Wenham.
