After a recent cup defeat, West Hill Wasps Under-13s got back to winning ways with an outstanding 5-1 victory at home to North Tawton.

The Wasps started full of determination and positive intent.  The breakthrough came after 10 minutes when Harrison B buried a trademark drive into the bottom corner. New signing Rhys W was soon in on the goalscoring action, the second a sublime headed finish after first lobbing the onrushing keeper.

Samuel M made it four just before half-time in a superb first half performance. Tawton pulled one back but the final Wasps goal was a beautiful headed effort from Matthew H.

Whilst goalscorers grab headlines, this is a Wasps team that works hard for each other. Sonny B was the midfield linchpin, who organised the Wasps and disrupted Tawton whenever they tried to build up a passage of play. Behind the back four, Oscar F was imposing in goal and inspired confidence.
