Whimple suffered a second successive heavy defeat as they went down by five wickets at Yelverton.
Batting first, only Dave Chamberlain (41) and Will Cleal (38) made any impression as the final Whimple wicket fell on 184.
Just five wickets were taken as the hosts claimed victory.
Whimple, who find themselves closer to the bottom two than the pace makers in the D Division, have a wonderful opportunity to return to winning ways on Saturday when they host basement dwellers Bridestowe.
The visitors will picth up at Whimple yet to win a game and have banked just 29 points from their five outings so far this term.
