Sidmouth’S Will Fryer, 11, contributed to a good start to the season for the Devon Schools badminton Association playing for the Devon under -13s and 15s.
In the match against Avon, he beat his Avon opponents in all his single matches and, with his partner Callum Cheung, he continued the victory for Devon in the Doubles.
Invited to play for the Devon under-15 match against Gloucester, Fryer fought his matches well and gained impressive wins.
In his first National Badminton England Bronze circuit, Will managed to elevate himself into the quarter finals for singles and, in his second national, he put in an excellent display with his partner..... and brought home the Silver medal for doubles from Kent and Cornwall
