Ottery St Mary Under-12s were worthy 5-1 winners when they entertained Tedburn Rangers in an Exeter and District Youth League Division Three match.
The two sides began the day occupying the bottom two slots in the division, but by full-time it was the young Otters looking onwards and upwards thanks to a five goal haul from Tyler Willis.
The young hit-man has been in good form this season and the visitors had no answer to his clinical finishing.
Ottery coach Lottie Weeks said: βIt was a very good team effort in which each one of the players gave a good contribution. Tyler (Willis) has been in good form this season with his goal scoring and he richly deserved to bag the five he did in this game.β
