ADAM Dibble, the Somerset young fast bowler from Sidmouth, has flown off to Western Australia where he will spend the winter training in Perth for his bright future.

The 18-year-old, who has just ended his first season on the county ground staff at Somerset, will be attending the Paul Terry Cricket Academy and playing grade cricket.

Having played his club cricket with Sidmouth since an early age, he later was a student at Taunton School before joining the Cidermen where, playing seven 2nd XI Championship games, he took 13 wickets at an average of 23.08, with a season's best of 3-40.
