KC Williams had a debut to remember as she marked her first start for Ottery St Mary ladies by scoring a hat-trick in the Otterettes 6-2 Devon Women’s League success over Axminster Town.
The other three Ottery goals were scored by Georgia Baker, Louise Ilsley and Jess Jenkins.
The win was a first for the Ottery ladies in the league and completed a weekend of double delight for the Otters with the men’s team winning a Bill Slee Cup at Washbrook Meadow 24 hours earlier, defeating North Tawton 6-0, to book a last eight berth in the competition.
Make sure of your copy of the Sidmouth Herald – out next on January 12 – for more on the win and post match reaction.
