There is no rugby action for the senior Sidmouth teams this weekend, but tomorrow sees the culmination of an outstanding Rugby World Cup competition, when holders New Zealand take on two-time winners Australia at Twickenham at 4pm, writes Terry O’Brien.
The match will be shown on the big screen in the main bar and also in the lower bar. Before the main event, the club will open it’s gates to the community for a celebration.
Entry is free and among the family fun activities will be an active bounce game, a bouncy castle, tag rugby, a children’s Halloween fancy dress competition, a barbecue and beer festival.
During the afternoon, the Pullin Cup will be presented to the winning junior team and the RWC Grand Raffle will be drawn.
Come and join in the festivities!
