Readers found solace with a book set in familiar soundings in an innovative new style of therapy at Sidmouth Library last Thursday.
Colaton Raleigh psychotherapist turned writer Eva Le Bon’s book ‘Bring Down the Moon’ is intended to help readers “read themselves well”.
It is an example of bibliotherapy, and can be accompanied by exercises in which readers can reflect on the unfolding events.
Library supervisor Carol Pentecost said: “She gave a very interesting insight into how she came to write the story and how she felt it could reach many people in very different ways.”
The library has copies of the latest edition, which includes reading notes for reflection.
