Sidmouth Lions Club sponsors Fred Astaire shows to raise funds for ELF and CHSW
THIS is your last chance to get tickets for two charity concerts, showcasing the memorable music of the great Fred Astaire.
On tomorrow (Friday) and Saturday, November 19/20, at 8pm at Sidholme Hotel, Elysian Fields, the many songs of the popular singer and dancer, whose career spanned nearly 50 years, will be performed by Avril Best, Wally Cotgrave, Val Howels and John Montgomerie.
Musical director, Dorothy Worthington, will accompany on keyboard, joined by Ruth James on violin and Helen Organ, flute.
These two performances are sponsored by Sidmouth Lions Club to raise funds for Exeter Leukaemia Fund (ELF) and the Childrens Hospice South West appeal to fund a new Hospice in Cornwall.
Tickets are at �8 each from COLES, 50 High Street , Sidmouth or on the door.
