On Thursday October 8, Sidmouth Poetry Readers assembled in Connaught Gardens to celebrate National Poetry Day by reading poems on the theme of Heroes and Heroines.
"They began their readings outside the Clock Tower restaurant and suddenly this beautiful butterfly began to flitter from book to book before finally settling on the hand of one of our members," said Joyce Waterhouse.
