O yes it is, oh no it isn't, oh yes it is, it's pantomime time again!

Cinderella arrives in Sidmouth on January 1, 2009, with all the glitter, tinsel, lights, pumpkins, mice, coaches and gorgeous dresses. Sidmouth Amateur Dramatic Society has chosen this favourite story once again with new principal characters; Rosie Aylward and Jane Ledwood playing the leading roles. Marc Colson makes a welcome return as one of the Ugly Sisters and is well partnered by newcomer to the society, Ashley Leeds. Tom Bornet playing Buttons follows in Marc's footsteps who played the part in one of their previous productions. Pia Thum, Karen MacGarvie, Leigh Steadman and David Harrison and a chorus of adults and children add sparkle to the performances.

Nick Bornet, known for playing the dame in last year's pantomime and the wicked sorcerer the year before, takes on the mantle as director. Nick has produced pantomimes previously in Honiton and has a great deal of experience on the stage.

Performances start on January 1st. at various times (please see advertisements or enquire at the theatre) and close on Jan 10, 2009. They include two performances at 6pm, to enable younger children to enjoy the show. SADS' pantomimes have always been aimed at the younger age range of the audiences but are delighted when they appeal to the adults as well.
