The Cologne New Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra returns during their Great Britain Summer Tour 2008 to Sidmouth, on August 12, at St. Giles and St. Nicholas' Church.
For the first time, the Orchestra will present a programme with a solo soprano singer, Astrid de Fauw.
The concert will feature Mozart's Concerto for Violin and Orchestra in G Major KV 216 Aria "Nel Sen mi Palpita" for Soprano and Orchestra, Purcell's "I am pressed with torment" and "When I am laid in earth" for Soprano and Orchestra from the Opera "Dido & Aenaeas"
