AN exhibition and sale of work by local artist, Penny Silverthorne will run from Saturday, May 23, until Wednesday, June 3 at A La Ronde, Exmouth.
Penny, a Woodbury Salterton artist, is celebrated for her floral watercolour paintings and this exhibition is inspired by Devon flowers.
Salli Carr-Griffin, of A la Ronde, said: "There is a link between Penny's work, and that of the Parminter cousins, for whom A la Ronde was built. We have some exquisitely delicate botanical watercolours of their period, two with decorated borders typical of the Parminter cousins work."
Penny said: "A la Ronde and its beautiful setting provide more inspiration for my paintings and a perfect backdrop for my watercolours."
Admission to the exhibition is free during normal opening times (closed Thursday and Friday).
