OTTERY St Mary is gearing up for a landmark organ recital event featuring two world-renowned musicians.
The "battle of the organs" concert next Wednesday, June 16, in Ottery Parish Church will be Professor Ian Tracey's 30th annual visit to the town.
One of Britain's best known and most widely respected musicians, he will this year be joined by popular classical concert organist Carlo Curley- dubbed the "Pavarotti of the organ".
Ian Tracey's performances there on the famous 'Willis' organ - the largest in the UK - have thrilled the instrument's thousands of fans around the world.
He was the youngest cathedral organist in the country when he first played in the town. He has returned every year for three decades.
To mark the occasion he has invited Carlo Curley, one of the world's foremost concert organists.
American Carlo was invited by the US President to play at the White House, and made history as the first classical organist to give a solo organ recital there. Today, he tours the world, having played in every state and province in North America and Canada, as well as Europe, Asia, Australia and Hong Kong.

Information Centre on (01404) 813964. The event will begin at 7.45pm. There will be an interval where Ian and Carlo will be on hand to sell CD's and chat to the audience.
