A display of religious art by an internationally-renowned painter is coming to Ottery Parish Church.
And local children can also get involved as Rosa Tuffney is looking for artwork to put in the exhibition next month on the theme of ‘angels’.
Rosa was known for decades for her wildlife art, but has radically changed direction in the past few years, and focuses her work on religious themes, such as scenes from the bible.
The exhibition, entitled ‘In the Presence of Angels’, starts on Monday, May 7, and runs to Saturday, May 12 in the church, and is open from 10am to 4pm, except for the final day’ which is only open until 1pm.
Children of all ages are asked to submit their work for the show, which should be sent to Ottery Parish Church, along with name, age and address, by Sunday May 6 to be included.
