Neil’s floral pictures among those on show at East Devon Art Academy in Sidmouth
SIX Sidmouth artists have got together for their first joint exhibition.
A preview will take place tonight (Friday) before the exhibition opens at East Devon Art Academy, Old Fore Street, Sidmouth, from Saturday, October 22 to Sunday, October 30.
Neil Hampson, pictured, is one of the artists exhibiting their work. Others are Victoria Goodman, Sandy Macfadyen, Christina Windley, Tony Dustan-Smith and Catherine Osbond.
Neil, who moved to Sidmouth earlier this year, paints large flower pictures and figurative work in oils.
There will be a diverse range of styles from the six artists, including paintings of atmospheric landscapes, figurative work, still life, and Neil’s floral paintings. They are worked in oils, acrylics and watercolour.
As well as originals there will be prints and cards available during the exhibition, which opens every day, including Sundays, from 11am to 5pm.
