Enter the secret area of the Blackmore Gardens during Sidmouth FolkWeek 2008 and you will discover a magical mixture of music, merriness and the mysterious treasures offered by the inhabitants of the Craft Pavilion!

During FolkWeek, the Blackmore Gardens will become a secret haven where you can relax, enjoy, or even take part in the many activities that are taking place there during the week.

Each day there will be a full programme of events for young and old including Punch and Judy shows, lunchtime story telling, children's craft workshops, and dance displays.

Whilst enjoying the entertainment you can also visit the Craft Pavilion - home to a wide range of traditional crafts, from hand produced jewellery, knitwear, leatherwork, pottery, wooden products and designs crafted from driftwood to delicious hand made fudge, chutneys and cheeses, and traditional English fruit wines.

In and around the Craft Pavilion there will also be daily craft workshops and demonstrations, including juggling, corn dolly making and greenwood working.

And, after having found that unusual gift for someone special or just something nice for yourself, then you can relax in the gardens and quench your thirst with freshly made lemonade or traditional home made ice cream!
