Sidmouth sculptor designed garden to display his work
ONE of those taking part in Sidmouth’s taster exhibition in Old Fore Street during Devon Open Studios fortnight is artist and sculptor Michael Gordon-Lee.
Michael is based in King Charles Way and again opens his studio doors during the county-wide arts event.
He is one of only a few artists showing original, limited edition, modern bronze sculptures, as well as wood carvings and paintings.
Visitors will be able to see him at work at his studio as well as seeing his work there and in his garden – created especially to display his sculptures.
Michael is happy to talk to visitors about all aspects of the creative process, from inspiration through to the finished work of art.
This year will donate a percentage of all sales equally between Devon Air Ambulance and ShelterBox during the fortnight, from September 3-18.
