GLORIOUS weather gave Cadhay's popular May Fair day a boost on Saturday as fun-seekers turned out in force to enjoy the event.

Ottery St Mary's parish church looks set for a generous cash boost after crowds flocked to the event to enjoy performances by acrobatic entertainers Bongo Bolero and the Ottery Silver Band.

Other highlights included ferret racing, "face to face" falconry, stalls, cream teas and a barbecue.
