Last April, Sidmouth Lions Club brought together, for the very first time, two very talented but contrasting musical groups, namely the Sidmouth Town Band and the River City Chorus ladies' barbershop ensemble.

The concert at Manor Pavilion Theatre was so well received by the audience that Sidmouth Lions have decided to put on a similar one this year, commencing at 7.30pm, on Saturday, February 21.

This year's concert will feature a wide spectrum of popular, classical and traditional music, which hopefully will appeal to all those attending.

This is a one-night only performance, so book early for a great evening's entertainment!

Concert tickets, priced at £9 each, are available from the Manor Pavilion box office on (01395) 514413, which is open from 10am to 2pm, Monday to Saturday. Proceeds from this Sidmouth Lions Club charity concert will go to Macmillan Cancer Support.

Sidmouth Lions' next fundraising event will be one of their quarterly Great Book Sales, from 10am to 12.30pm on Saturday, February 28, at St John Hall, Blackmore Drive, just off Sidmouth High Street. This will be followed on Saturday, April 4, by a Youth Variety Show at Manor Pavilion Theatre.
