Experience a week of hauntingly special Halloween events like ghost trains, eerie creatures, free pumpkins to carve and a ghoulishly different tractor ride. Then celebrate Devon's biggest themed bonfire at Woodlands Firework Festival as a grand finale on Saturday, November 1. The fangtastic half term week at Woodlands, near Dartmouth, has scary surprises for the timidest to the bravest of us from October 25 - 31. All the exciting happenings, prizes, pumpkins, workshops and the Firework Festival on November 1 are included in the £9.95 admission cost.

Can you carve a champion pumpkin? Are you brave enough to enter the Grotto of the Fiendish Beasties? Enjoy making weird and wonderful sweets and creations in the prize winning Halloween workshop, then hunt for a Trick or Treat Voucher hidden around the 80 acre park?

Will you boldly travel on the ghost train through graveyards, past the Witch's Grotto to the creepy clown's canyon? Take care on the ghoulish tractor ride as shadowy ghosts fly menacingly overhead. On Friday win amazing prizes as you dress up in hauntingly stunning Halloween costumes and twilight is the special time when the lantern procession reaches the haunted pool. There everyone gathers round the misty waters to hear the tale of Woodlands' gentle ghost. Then the ghosties are banished from Woodlands for another year.

Be prepared for explosions and falling stars at the Galatic Wars Firework Festival on Saturday, November 1, when the Empire of the Sea Dragon stays open till 7pm. Woodlands' legendary 40ft high themed bonfire is lit by Spangles the Clown and Ben the Master Juggler with flaming torches. The Wars of the Planets fiery spectacular will be engulfed by leaping flames which light up the exciting variety of stalls and games. Enjoy fast fresh food and the jazz band will help keep tapping feet and hands warm. Firemagic of Bristol will be presenting a spell-binding firework display costing thousands.

The caravan and camping park at Woodlands is ideal for a half term break. All the ghastly fun events and the Firework Festival are included in either the family holiday or a fun day out.
