James Pellow, Janette Froud and Jane Bennett will all feature in the Charles and Imogen Vance Summer Play Festival, but fans of these three firm favourites don't have to wait until June 28, as all three will grace the Manor Pavilion Theatre stage on Friday, May 16, at 7.45pm in Another Evening with James Pellow.

James has written pieces for Jane and Janette and one sketch which features all three, but Jane tells me she will not be singing in this show. Another special guest is Sandria Stewart, who will share two sketches with James - one of them a kind of "song sketch".

In the spring of 2007, James starred as Lady Bracknell in a West End production of The Importance of Being Earnest at the Jermyn Street Theatre. James will bring his outrageous character to the Manor with Alec Fellowes-Bennett playing Jack Worthing for the famous 'handbag' scene.

Last year, James was bowled over by the warmth of the Sidmouth welcome he was given and is sure to attract a full house with people coming from as far afield as Wolverhampton.

James says: "I love the slightly quirky side to a character - the strange things people say and do that are often unintentionally funny."

Manor Pavilion audiences love watching James and his quests on stage. The show has sold out.
