Candlelit concert for Macmillan Support’s centenary

PREPARATIONS are well underway for Isca Ensemble’s candlelit concert for Macmillan Cancer Support at Sidmouth Parish Church on Saturday, February 18.

Marking the charity’s centenary, the concert, which starts at 7.30pm, comprises Nicolai’s Overture Merry Wives of Windsor, Schubert’s Unfinished Symphony and Beethoven’s Pastoral Symphony.

Tickets £10 (£5 students) are available from Paragon Books, Sidmouth.

The Isca String Quartet, with Chris Gradwell on clarinet, will perform at Kennaway House for Parkinson’s UK on Sunday, March 4 at 3pm. Tickets are £8 and numbers are limited. It will be followed by afternoon tea.
