The Devon Artist Network (DAN) have invited East Devon artists to attend an open meeting in Sidmouth at the East Devon District Council offices at Knowle, on Thursday, January 15, at 7pm to find out more.

Artists have the option of opening their studios and homes to the public and showing their work for up to 16 days when Devon Open Studios, the largest open studios event in the county, runs from September 5 to 20 this year.

Kate Wilson, of DAN, said: "Information about all the artists taking part will be collated into a free catalogue which will be widely available to visitors through Tourist Information Centres, galleries, arts venues and libraries from mid July." The closing date for registration for this year's event will be January 31 and participating artists will also need to sign up to become members of DAN for 2009.
