SIDMOUTH Musical Comedy Society was awarded the Mary Hobbs Shield for NODA South-West Region Best Poster Competition 2011 for their production of Cabaret.

Pictures is poster designer, Geoff Self, receiving the award from NODA national president Fred Piggford at the Palace Hotel, Torquay.

The poster will now go forward to the NODA national competition.

Sidmouth Musical Comedy are in rehearsal for their next production - Acorn Antiques The Musical.

Wonky sets, missed cues and outrageous innuendo are all present and suitably incorrect in this hilarious musical version of Victoria Wood’s much loved TV series.

Running from May 30 to June 2 at the Manor Pavilion Theatre.

Performances start at 8pm and there is a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm.
