The play tells the story of how a group of friends are sundered by mass hysteria and how idealism is corrupted and degraded by fear within a violent state dictatorship in revolutionary France.

The cast includes Belinda Lang and David Sturzaker, both of whom have a long list of stage credits.

Belinda also made a name for herself in the television comedy Two Point Four Children.

The production is set to be staged at the Exeter Northcott from Tuesday, October 14, to Saturday, October 18.
